Xplor Education acquires MyWaitList, helping Australian childcare services increase occupancy

  • Australia’s most innovative early education software powerhouse expands offering for its over 10,500 services across Australia and New Zealand
  • Acquisition will bring powerful new tools to help childcare operators build relationships with prospective families and fill their empty spaces

Xplor Technologies, a leading global platform integrating software, payments, and commerce-enabling solutions for businesses in Education, Boutique Wellness, Health and Fitness, Field Services, and Personal Services, has today announced it has agreed to acquire Australian childcare waitlist and CRM software platform – MyWaitList. The acquisition of MyWaitList will jumpstart Xplor’s efforts to help families and children gain access to education as they manage new ways of working in a post-Covid world. It will also see Xplor accelerate its plans to help childcare services increase their occupancy, boosting the industry average past 75%.

LDC enrolments are worth up to $92k, if maximised.
– Early Years Research 2021

Founded in 2012, MyWaitList was created as a specialised tool to help Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) providers manage enquiries and enrolments more effectively. MyWaitList offers a range of features for operators, including smart lead capture forms, online tour scheduling, email marketing, waitlist automation, task management and deep performance reporting.

“Today’s announcement… will help us give back more peace of mind to parents, and time to operators – so everyone can just focus on children.”

Centres will find it easier to connect with parents post-COVID

The acquisition will see MyWaitList CRM and waitlist functionality integrated with Xplor’s product suite, including Office, Playground, Home and Space, helping families to seamlessly find and connect with care for their children. Space allows parents to enrol directly to a childcare centre, helping to increase occupancy for centres of all sizes and saving parents valuable time.

The acquisition will support Xplor in its plans to help childcare services increase their occupancy, boosting the industry average past 75%.

“From the beginning, we have always set out to help make education great by removing unnecessary administration for parents, educators and services,” said Xplor’s CEO of Education, Mark Woodland. “Today’s announcement of the acquisition of MyWaitlist with its innovative waitlist and CRM features will help us give back more peace of mind to parents, and time to operators – so everyone can just focus on children.”

“I couldn’t be more excited by the opportunity to accelerate this positive change by helping to make it simpler and easier for childcare centres to focus on education.”
– Founder, MyWaitList, Stuart Rae.

MyWaitList founder Stuart Rae confirmed, “I’ve always admired Xplor’s relentless commitment to positively changing the early education sector. I couldn’t be more excited by the opportunity to accelerate this positive change by helping to make it simpler and easier for childcare centres to focus on education.”
