Documentation is the key to improved ratings

Struggling to compile evidence to showcase your centre’s teaching practices? Our free Quality Area 1 checklist has suggestions for documenting evidence under each element of QA1, such as:

Element 1.1.2 (Child-centred)—Share an “All About Me” layout and collaborate with families to add likes, dislikes, goals and milestones
Element 1.2.1 (Intentional teaching)—Create a critical reflection template with intentional questions embedded that educators complete on a weekly or monthly basis
Element 1.3.2 (Critical reflection)—House reflections in individual folders that you can review weekly/monthly to inform change as required
