Now Australia’s largest online childcare marketplace, Space is recognised for technological innovation for 2021
Xplor Education, the early childhood education platform delivering innovative software solutions to early learning services and families across Australia and New Zealand, proudly announces that it has been named sixth on the Australian Financial Review (AFR) BOSS Most Innovative Companies Top-10 list in the technology category. Xplor Education was chosen for the development and launch of its Space platform, an online childcare marketplace that connects childcare centres and parents with over 30,000 monthly enquiries for care.
Mark Woodland, Xplor Education CEO, commented that being recognised for innovation is fantastic. “The pandemic has been difficult for all of us, but sometimes tough challenges push us to innovate. We’re really proud of the work we’ve done developing Xplor Space”, he said. “We’re excited to provide a platform that lists each centre’s real-time availability and fees to parents, where parents can enrol, book tours, and make enquires directly from Space.”
Xplor Education offers Australia’s only complete ‘all-in-one’ suite of software solutions to help early childhood education centre owners and educators provide top-notch care to children and families. Over 10,500 services across Australia and New Zealand have opted to use Xplor’s tools for administration (Office), curriculum design and planning (Playground) and parent engagement (Home). Space, the online childcare marketplace developed by Xplor, helps maximise occupancy for centres while providing parents with improved access to early childcare options throughout Australia. “By combining all of these tools in a single ecosystem, parents have a seamless experience with one system—from searching for care to enrolling in care, to engaging with their centre, to paying for care. No other childcare software in Australia owns all of these components” explains Mark Woodland.
Xplor Space continues to innovate and will be implementing a major change soon. Space will soon become the first and digital childcare marketplace to include verified reviews to users in Australia and New Zealand. Families that have attended the service for more than two months will have the ability to leave reviews directly on the platform.
