Pilot Childcare signs up to childcare marketplace, Space

  • Australia’s leading childcare management service to use new childcare listing platform Space to boost their profile and transform childcare search for prospective families.
  • Space enables centres to reach more parents online, manage enquiries and tour bookings, and automate marketing to families all in one place.

MELBOURNE, Australia – June, 2021Pilot Childcare, a leading childcare management service in Australia, has today signed up to childcare listing platform Space to help boost occupancy and automate marketing activities for its childcare centres. Space is part of the enterprise software suite provided by Xplor Education, designed to help childcare centres enhance the overall parent experience, from enquiry to enrolment, in a post-pandemic market.

Since launch, monthly enquiries generated through Space have grown by 187%, and in the last two months by over 150% as more and more parents search for the best childcare option for their families.

Pilot Childcare was launched in 2015 to help Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) services manage their centres more efficiently. The organisation currently serves 1512 children, 1,186 families, and 241 permanent educators in 13 centres across regional New South Wales – offering cloud-based childcare management software (CCMS), payroll and HR management, access to educator communities and surveys, along with the fastest-growing childcare supply company in Australasia.

Having worked with Xplor since 2015, Pilot is now looking to market themselves more effectively to qualified parents and families. Additionally, they needed a streamlined process for managing enquiries and requests for tour bookings in their centres. Space auto-syncs with a centre’s current enrolment systems and seamlessly handles the flow of communication to save valuable time for both families searching for suitable childcare and educators when administering new enquiries.

“With Space, we’ve seen a marked acceleration in parent leads generated each week.”

The deal will see Pilot’s childcare services gain access to Xplor’s cloud-based software suite, including the Space childcare listing platform which allows families to compare services, directly enquire, book a tour and apply to a waitlist without needing to visit in-person. Enquiries from all digital channels are streamlined into a single dashboard for the centre, helping to make childcare bookings and administration much more manageable for service providers. Since launch, monthly enquiries generated through Space have grown by 187%, and in the last two months by over 150% as more and more parents search for the best childcare option for their families.
